Wow. I haven't posted in 2 weeks. Boo.
Nothing's been happening much anyway, but somehow I feel a lot busier. Hahah. XD Maybe that's cause my Saturdays are always full (Spanish class+guitar), and cause I'm always out of the house trying to finish my photo homework in ADPHOTO (Advance Photography). Our prof gives us a ton of things we need to shoot every week. Too many.
Well anyway, me and Karen did make a pact to do something new every Saturday after classes. So this Saturday, we went... ice skating (as per Minami's suggestion)! And we took Minami and Eriko with us.
Ice skating was... not as easy as it looks. (LOL! Does it even look easy anyway?) It's...slippery. HAHAHAH. XD Carla and Madonna didn't try it, but me and Karen did. During the first 5 minutes I couldn't get myself to let go of the railing. What an embarrassment. ^^; After a while we got the hang of it, and so did Minami and Eriko. 80% of the people in the rink didn't know how to skate either--we were in good company. Thankfully, I didn't further embarrass myself by falling or anything--I made a very conscious effort not to. :D "Dammit Den! Don't fall!!" Heheheh. Minami was having a hard time finding her balance, but Karen, who learned so damn fast (how the hell did she do that!?), held her hand before she can even fall. (AWWW.) The skating shoes were way too uncomfortable, and Eriko and Karen both got some nasty blisters in their feet.
Hmm anyway...what else...? Hm, I made a fool of myself playing as a lesbian in my PERFORM class, I'm scrambling to find someone whom I can borrow a digital SLR camera from, I had to watch a sex movie for my film class, and I'm also still procrastinating on my thesis.
Wah.

Hmmm... just a post for no reason at all. XD
A little rundown:
I met Alodia in MoA last week! Hahaha. It was in Starbucks, her table was beside mine. It was
so funny, surprising, and weird, because just the day before that I've been browsing around her DeviantArt gallery and thinking to myself, "whoa! amazing! This girl sure knows how to cosplay!". LOL. That day there was some kind of event in MoA and she was cosplay-ing as Amane Misa from Death Note, and pulled it off perfectly. Being totally shameless, I approached her and asked if I can have a picture taken with her. She looked tired, but she was still pretty nice and accomodating. Here's the picture my mom took of us...which turned out blurred. ARGH!!Me and Karen finally enrolled in Instituto Cervantes for Spanish classes last week. And no, Virgi never came (awwww). I was supposed to meet Eriko and Minami afterwards for lunch, so I asked Karen to come with us (the more the merrier I always say :P). Seems like Minami's having a really hard time adjusting to life here cause literally everything's in English. On top of that, she's a Lit major so it's just been the first week of class and she's got a truckload of things she needs to read already. Heh. Welcome to life in La Salle.
Anyway, after thatme and Karen just stayed in Mall of Asia till nighttime, eating Ice Monster (yay!) and talking about...who else? Ohanne. Hahaha. :D
Then this week, my cinematography class, the one class I have been looking forward to the whole week...got cancelled! (DAMMIT!) Not enough students enrolled they say...geez. Well next week i'm gonna start Spanish classes and hopefully it turns out fine. It's also a great excuse to meet Karen and the rest of the group every week. Hahah. XD

Things to do:
- Finish that stupid application for the Japan scholarship. (damn it... too many requirements... >_<)
- go to Instituto Cervantes to enroll in Spanish.
- kick, whack, and torture Virgi for not joining us for Spanish class.
- practice guitar. (aaaaaaaaaaaah! i haven't been practicing lately!!) My instructor will kill me...
- finish translating Moshikashite Vampire.
- go to CSB to check out the Digital Filmmaking course they're offering.
- Apply for special classes in DLSU.
- Finish reading the book I borrowed from Carla. ("The End of Poverty" by Jeffrey Sachs)
- Buy Jessica Zafra's new book. (yay! she has a new one!!)
- start writing my thesis (booooooo.)
- Finish my homework in film class.
- Help Eriko and Minami adjust to life in Manila. (which is totally different from Japan. LOL.)
- and probably a lot more that I can't remember as of now. XD
And speaking of that scholarship application, while I was getting my health certificate, I bumped by a girl who was also applying for the same scholarship. A UP (University of the Philippines) student who's on the fast track on graduating a cum laude. Holy crap. I'm done for. I suddenly thought to myself: What if like, a hundred people from UP applied for the same scholarship!? I mean, that's not totally impossible right? The scholarship grant is open to everyone. Man, my hopes suddenly went down. I want further education in filmmaking now more than ever. >_<
I have to think positively! Yes! This isn't the first time I've been an underdog! Yeah, that's right! I can still overcome all odds and beat all those UP people!!
...yeah right. (ooh, is that a flying pig?!)
